We also collect usage data such as message counts, token usage, and feature interactions to improve the product and manage billing.

We use your information to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve Mechi
• Process billing and manage subscriptions
• Send service-related communications (e.g., billing notices, security alerts)
• Respond to support requests
• Detect and prevent abuse or unauthorized access

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with third-party service providers who help us operate the service (e.g., cloud infrastructure, payment processing). These providers are contractually bound to protect your data.

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Mechi, our users, or others.

Data Security

We encrypt data in transit (TLS) and at rest. API keys are encrypted using AES-256-GCM. Workspace data is isolated by workspace ID. We conduct regular security reviews and follow industry best practices for data protection.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your conversations, agents, and context files within 30 days. Usage logs may be retained in anonymized form.

Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data. You can manage most of this from your workspace settings. For requests not available in-app, contact us at the email below.
